Gene Rozewski, Chairperson for the Car Show, asks “Are you interested in helping on the day of the Spencerport Canal Days Car Show?"

If so, there are several different things you could do.

Most positions only require you to work from about 8:00 till noon. We could use another committee member or two. The day of show relies on a team of people perform a variety of tasks. Job descriptions for that day of show works are as follows:

Preliminary Check In Team: Meet and greet the participants as they come into the park. Check vehicle class and direct then to the proper entrance.

Day of Show Registration Check In Team: Meet and greet the participants. Help them determine their class, fill out the forms, review voting procedure, and direct drivers to the show field.

Pre-registered Check In Team: Meet and greet the participants. Provide all paperwork, review voting procedure, and direct drivers onto the show field.

Parking Team: This is where we need the most people. Help the drivers find the parking row for their class and help them get spaced the correct distance from the next car and in a nice straight line.

Each worker earns the thanks of the Car Show participants, Committee, and community. Each person gets a custom 2009 Car Show hat and coupons for lunch from Barton's Parkside Hots.
